I offer 1:1 support, for Artists of any age and discipline.
My work in embodied and uses theories of trauma response and the nervous system to develop a holistic way to support humans through difficult time. I am trained in DBT (Dialectical Behavioural Therapy) offering the opportunity to develop mindful tools to manage emotions. Sessions are person-centred focusing on what you want to explore and can incorporate creative activities such as play, drama, art and poetry/creative writing to support getting to the heart of the experience. I utilise the creative self to explore issues that may be difficult to express verbally. I also offer Creative Supervision for artists and therapists who work supporting others. Making space to understand how our work affects us along with thinking about what is happening in the room is a valuable tool for anyone working with complexity. |
I have worked as an on set therapist for a CBBC and the BBC along with many theatres including The Royal Court, Bristol Old Vic and Nottingham Playhouse.
I have over 15 years of experience working 1:1 with adults and young people, along with working with 3rd Sector Organisations such as:
- CAMHs LAC and Community team
- Harmless
- The Childrens Society
- Place2Be
- Changing Lives
